Was a fan of the modern warfare franchise, but MW3/MW2 sort of slowly lost me with its stupidity. In COD:Ghosts, the stupidity continues. The Ghosts are supposedly a force of secret special operations guys who fight quietly behind enemy lines for a supposedly weakened America. They proceed their secret fights by storming into an enemy base with a burning truck and proceeding to shoot everybody loudly as alarms rang loudly. And not only is the plot stupid, but its somehow easier than the last COD games. It felt challenge-less.
It is fun playing as a dog, the only bit of stealthy backstabby sort of gameplay I expected from the game there is. But it dies and the entire team is cut up about it, but not seemingly when the token black person of the squad pegs it.
The entire thing is unrealistic, easy and very ridiculous. This supposedly weakened America, (fighting south America for some reason) appears to have an unlimited supply of resources and there is nothing really covert or secretive or stealthy about the Ghosts at all. They just march into pretty much every scenario and shoot everybody until there is nobody left to shoot.
2/10. Seriously, this game is garbage. It feels like Call of Duty fan fiction written by an adolescent. Maybe, one day, we'll get another modern military shooter as good as COD4.

You clearly haven't played the campaign or you would know that the dog does not actually die.
