This review is from: Dishonored DLC Double Pack: Dunwall City Trials and The Knife of Dunwall (PC DVD) (Video Game)
I'm not a gamer by far but I enjoy from time to time (every once in a year) a good game. And this was the right game for me actually. As you may know this is a DLC to the original Dishonored game. Since I'm mostly focusing on the storyline by default, I only seriously engaged in playing The Knife of Dunwall DLC.
+ captivating storyline from the perspective of the assassin.
+ I really like that you get different game endings depending on your actions throughout the game. Also, keep in mind that your personality/character can be imported from the game if you have played the original game on the same PC as the one you play this DLC.
+ captivating missions with different or similar powers as before
+ I don't want to get into the details so I would ruin the surprise but the game is well made with only a few glitches.
+ save often because you will run into trouble often
- way too short. more missions would have been welcomed
- I kind of liked Corvo character better so I was a bit surprised that now I have to play as the "bad guy" which in the end turn out to be just a confused guy with a conscience and empathy (if this is the way to choose to play the game)
I can't say too much about the Dunwall City Trials DLC. I wasn't very interested in this one. I tried it a couple of times but didn't feel particularly engaged. You are basically an assassin and you have to do certain short, fast paced, puzzle and strategy orientated missions. And then you repeat them over and over again until you get that perfect score - not my style but many would find this DLC very enjoyable since you really get to know what your powers can really do.
