Back to her roots,
By A Customer
This review is from: Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea (Audio CD)
Reading the reviews posted on Amazon and listening to the album I get confused because it is, surprisingly, just a remake of her excellent album "Dry" of... 1993! It seems that, along with U2's latest, she is getting back to her roots. If that is all she could extract musically and creatively from living in New York in the last year, then I would conclude that is a lot of hype for nothing. If you still want to listen to PJ,start with "Dry" and this latest is not at all compulsory.

What rubbish - having heard everything she's made to date, this is easily her best

You have complimented the album in your review "remake of her excellent..." then given it one star??? Maybe you pressed the wrong button. Anyway for anyone reading this you should start your PJ collection with this album.
