This review is from: Grow Your Own Vegetables (Paperback)
Although this book has a lot of 5 star reviews I feel that it is slightly lacking for the modern gardener. This book did not tell me everything I wanted to know such as what to do with crops at the end of the season, and has no photographs, only sketches. Whilst a good book, I feel there are better available!

let it rock says:
Of the many vegetable growing and allotment books I have bought, this is the one that I refer to more than all the others put together. An absolute gem and at £6.99 an absolute bargain. What I recommend you do with crops is eat them!! True there are no photos but these would have pushed the price up considerably and too many vegetable growing books are full of tasteful picture of salad crops with morning dew that tell you nothing and are better suited to a coffee table book than a useful guide.
