Dark but enjoyable,

This review is from: Twilight Hunger (MIRA) (Mass Market Paperback)
I read the first one of this series by accident as I came across them via the intrigue series of Silhouette. I was hooked and wanted to read the others. This one is dark and gothic, all you'd expect of a vampire novel. A gothic heroine with the knowledge that her fame and riches are built on a lie. That her inspiration and indeed her fame are not her own but from the diaries of a tormented man. The vampire who wrote the diaries sees the film she has scripted and seeks her out, the evil DPI which returns in every book, is after the vampire, the vampire is after the heroine, who is also slowly dying. Add to that a missing twin sister who is trying to find out who are the bad guys, and nearly makes the wrong choice and you have a briliant book with a good plot. Keep'em coming Mrs Shayne as I love to read them.
