This review is from: TV Toys (Shire Library) (Paperback)
This book maintains the usual high standard of Shire Books through both the well authored text by Anthony McGoldrick and the delightful photographs which will evoke a sense of nostalgia in anyone brought up in the TV era eg. from the 1950s onwards.
To detail too much of the merchandise would spoil things for would be readers but the book covers all sorts of TV related toys from Andy Pandy, through Gerry Anderson's Captain Scarlet, Thunderbirds, Stingray etc. to the Man From U.NC.L.E to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. There are lots of photographs included that cover a wide range of different toy brands including Corgi, Dinky and Airfix.
A well researched and produced book that will certainly evoke many childhood memories if you hail from the period covered by it. Recommended.

Mr. Mungo says:
Sounds like a good book but weren't they Teenage Mutant NINJA Turtles?!
