This review is from: Hunger Point: A Novel (Mass Market Paperback)
This was one of the best books I've read in a very long time! Thank God for the very few Gen-X writers we have, and please, God, send us some more! Medoff captures perfectly the angst and anxiety of people our age (mid to late twenties). Us "losers" who haven't quite made it to mom and dads Ozzie and Harriet, pseudo perfect lives. We have problems, we have disorders (like anorexia and panic attacks) and yes we are incredibly immature and irresponsible, but at least we HAVE FUN! I was thrilled with the ending (don't worry, I won't give it away - except to say that Frannie does eventually manage to get it together slightly, but not so much that she gets boring!). Anyway, my only request now would be that Medoff write many many more wonderful books!
