Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Onaroo Teach Me Time! Talking Alarm Clock, Sleep Trainer and Nightlight (Baby Product)
I bought this after reading all the positive reviews. Immediately I was pleased with the strong build and my three year old loved the idea of having an alarm clock of her very own.
However, I set up the alarm for the green light to activate at 7am and found that ALL hours inbetween, day and night the clock shines a orange glow which kept my daughter from getting a full nights sleep - this glow's intensity is simply too much and we could not alter it unless we opted to turn off the alarm - I ask you, what good is an alarm clock if you turn off the alarm!! so, yes I regret buying this for our child.
positive: Analogue clock face to aid teaching the time
green wake up light for children too young to read the time
negative: Cannot deactive the orange glow that must also consume electricity when the wake up light is selected as on.
Hope this helps others - unless someone knows a way to fix this that I haven't found?!!!
