5.0 out of 5 stars Ebay VS Geniune product, 28 Sept. 2012
By
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Prestigio Road Runner HD1 Car Digital Video Recorder (Camera)
Length:: 1:01 Mins

I found the picture quality was good and audio(Yes i turned it off in the video) was good too. The reason i bought this is i did'nt want to buy a cheap product of ebay and find that it has broken down at some point and failed to record what i needed it to record, the cable length was good on this, managed to wind it under the dash,along the trim to get it to a center postion on the windscreen, so no wire hanging down the center of the dash, really happy with this product.

Many thanks for a video sample of a product that takes video! I assume some quality is lost due to the upload or is it this blocky on the actual recording? A YouTube posting in 1080 would be a nice thing; although I'm in no place to ask for one!

But thanks for this sample. Still debating to get one or not. Having a Ford Focus my 12V supply is constantly on even when the ignition is off and the car is locked; so I'd be concerned about draining the battery or having to remember to plug it in and unplug it all the time...

I'll leave this on my wish list for now ;-)

Mate, you can wire this straight into the fuse box and earth it there...if you put it on an ignition live circuit and piggy back the fuse (ie. onto the rear screen heater) it'll only run when the engine is running.

Check this thread:

Hope it helps mate.

I really doubt that such a low current device will will drain a car battery to any significant extent. I really wouldn't worry about it, especially as the battery drains/discharges on its own anyway.

Hi, I need a camera to film overnight to detect who is vandalising my car. Does this camera have battery support that will last through the night? Thanks.
