An interesting insight,

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This book is a rather remarkable insight into something of the personal life of one of the most influential figures of the last century. The book consists of letters between father and daughter a great many of them very mundane (Stuff about holidays, school, family etc) The book also includes many useful notes to assist the reader and an index with a timeline to help.
Other reviewers have already pointed out the academic side of this book so there is little more to add. I must say I read this because I wanted to know a little more about the man himself and his family and these correspondence have helped to achieve this.
