Nice Package - shame about the remaster,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)

Is this "remaster" worth your money ?
Well you can`t fault the package, superb booklet, all relevant tracks present and correct either as part of the album or as bonus tracks. The issue is with the so called remastered sound, maybe the source tapes just were not good enough but to uphold a couple of other reviewers comments, the sound whilst a mild improvement on the original cd is a huge letdown to what should have been achieved and does not rescue this album from its badly mastered legacy.
I am very surprised Rhino have put this out, surely someone should have said " This is not good enough - lets try again "
Value for money - at under £7 of course it is, personally however I would have happily paid twice the price to hear the job done properly ( eg as per the recent Rory Gallagher/ Hawkwind titles) but my guess is this album will now forever reside in the "what could have been" pile for CD remasters and we will never get to hear this music with the clarity it was played in the studio. What a missed opportunity !

Hearing this as it was played in the studio seems unlikely no matter who remasters it. Some folks want a lot. There's a SHM-CD of this coming as well. Don't suppose that will be right, either.

What I want is for it not to sound like sh.. as it does on my previous cd version.
