This review is from: Fresh from the Freezer: 100 delicious, freezer-friendly recipes (Paperback)
This is a very good book, with a lot of simple, easy to freeze recipes. There is clear information on freezing, defrosting, reheating, cooking and serving at the bottom of each recipe (where applicable). The book has at the beginning an introduction, ten reasons to freeze, freezing - the rules, storing and thawing, Food Standards Agency Advice, storage times for various foods, top leftovers you can freeze and what to make (recipes within the book) with gluts of fruit and vegetables.
One thing I would say though; don't buy this looking for amazing, never before considered recipes specially designed for freezing. The recipes themselves are standard recipes that happen to freeze well. This may disappoint some people, but the background information in the book is good and the recipes are clear and concise. If you are quite experienced when it comes to cooking and freezing food, then you may find that this book doesn't provide you with much additional inspiration..
