2.0 out of 5 stars Binding is not good, 19 May 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Summa Theologica 5 Vol Set (Hardcover)
Whilst the content may be fine, am quite umimpressed with the binding of this edition. It has been bound too close to the words in the margin, and in the middle of some of the volumes the binding actually covers some of the words, resulting in incomplete text. Given I shelled out £174.00 for this, expected a lot better. Caveat emptor is all I can say!

I think it is really criminal that such important writings as those by St Thomas Aquinas are published in an almost aberrant manner, with print submerging beneath the joinings of pages etc. I am a Christian, actually a Catholic. Aquinas has inspired me more than anyone. Why is it that so little respect can be shown for his writings ? What kind of world do we live in ? I am sure that had it been something pornographic, the print would have been properly aligned with the pages.
