Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Midsomer Murders: The Complete Series Seven [DVD] (DVD)
I have just received this item, but will need to return it, as the reviews here are correct, and I already have the episodes.
I would just like to clarify something. There are two main types of box set for Midsomer Murders. There is a "collection" box set (10 investigations) and a "series" box set. The collection box set contains random episodes that are in the series box set, like a compilation. In order to avoid buying the same episodes over again, you'll need to stick with one type, either series or collection, as one of the reviewers here has previously stated.

I can't believe the number of people making this mistake and unfairly giving lower ratings because of it! Series is a completely different word from collection! The boxes look completely different if you actually look at the picture of what you're buying before you buy it!

I'm glad someone's said this. Half of the people on this site are rating these series collections one star or whatever and claiming that it's a misrepresentation, when it actually isn't, they're boxsets which contain the series episodes, not the COLLECTION episodes. How difficult is it to read the difference between the collection boxsets and the series boxsets? These people clearly aren't reading the descriptions and are blaming amazon for their own stupidity.
