Kerouac never stopped drifting..,
By A Customer
This review is from: On the Road (Paperback)This book is much the same as his others, i like the way he writes about the people and places hes come across but it gets really depressing when you realise he never actually arrives anywhere.
He tends to worship the people he meets along the way, he spends time with them and then it all eventually disintegrates around him.
Travel is a wonderful thing, I just wouldn't like the loneliness and desperation Kerouac must have felt and it comes across in this book.
Buy it, it's an experience.
