Very good apart from one thing...,
This review is from: Samsung HW-C560S 5.1 Channel AV Receiver Home Cinema System (Electronics)I setup the AV unit and linked all the speakers etc to pre-wired corners of the room, plugged in 3 HDMI inputs and 1 HDMI output to the TV. All looking good.
I tried the first HDMI device. no problem. Tried the second and third and no picture. I tried everything. swapping leads around, checking forums, checking instructions.
I tried to get support from samsung and they said they do not offer support for this device! How bad is that? I had only had it a week and they wouldnt offer any support. I had a samsung led tv, samsung dvd and samsung based virgin plus box too! very disappointing.
anyway what really puzzled me was i could get 1 hdmi working but non of the others. i could even switch the cables from the other 2 devices to the working port and it would work.
after spending about 6 hours on and off trying to work this out i decided to return it and get a replacement. got the replacement and the same thing happened. so i returned the replacement and was then determined to get it to work.
after another 4 hours i got them to work. all it was is the auto assign wasnt right for the hdmi. clicking 0 (auto assign) fixed each. what a relief!
i am a very technical person with 20 years of using pcs/macs networking etc. i think this isnt explained well at all that the picture will not work if the audio is assigned correctly for the port.
so to conclude it works but dont get caught out like i did.
sounds good. iphone doc is ok but no control over which song so you just go from track 1 next 2 next 3 next 4 next 5 which is rubbish.
