This review is from: The Better to Hold You (Mass Market Paperback)Noticed this didn't have a review when looking for the next book, so thought I add one.
Overall, a good book without being brilliant. The story revolves around a character who I suspect many will have issues with as she does have a lot of hang ups, especially about herself. Lacks a lot of confidence, although a bit less around her work.
The book follows the main characters relationship with her husband, after he comes back 'changed' after visiting transylvania on a reseach trip. The book really needs to be classified as drama, it isn't scary enough to be a thriller, not much action, and the main mystery is one that anyone knowing this is urban fantasy will know whats happenned to her husband after reading the blurb. So relly your reading for the story and how it all unfolds, and its not a bad story at all. Not rivetting however, so not 5 stars in my book.
