The Haunted Tour of Britain -Scotland ( By Richard Felix),
This review is from: The Ghost Tour of Great Britain: Scotland (Hardcover)
I totally agree with the previous reviewer and this is based on purchasing a couple of books from this series, notably covering Yorkshire and West Midlands (my home area). I have no problem with the writing style, it is adequate if not outstanding but I have a big problem with the content of this series of books. Over a third of the content is purely for padding and is repeated in each book, which is hardly an incentive to collect the lot. There is less than two thirds of each book given over to actual cases and haunted locations. I have met Richard on a number of occassions and know his views well enough and though I have much sympathy with his theories they could have been condensed or omitted from this series.
I would suggest that if you can pick these books up for a couple of pounds then fair enough but they are not worth their full price and your money would be better spent on something by Andrew Green.
