This review is from: Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 - Triple Play (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy) [Region Free] (Blu-ray)He was, surprisingly, quite good in part 1 ( especially in the Dobby death scene ), but Radcliffe is as abysmal here as he's ever been. When he says, "I'm ready to die" , he might aswell be saying "I'm ready to order", or at the most, "I'm ready for my driving test" - for all the emotional punch it packs. Very disappointing - this last part of the saga is prime acting material, and it goes to waste on a young man whose head is clearly too far up his own arse to deliver a decent performance.
Fiennes is quite good in places, though I've never found his Voldemort quite scary enough. Rickman and Bonham-Carter superb as always. THE star of this however , as far as I'm concerned, was the ill-treated dragon. He looked more real, sitting there panting out of breath on the rooftop, than any CGI creature I've ever seen in a film ( and I would include Avatar in that ). Kudos to whoever the talented CGI people are , for that dragon and for ALL the special effects, which are top notch.
