Coaching Skills A Handbook,
This review is from: Coaching Skills: A Handbook (Paperback)
This book directly links coaching up to mentors, psychotherapy and psychiatry allowing the book to be of use over a variety of disciplines.
The book I feel would be of interest to those entering coaching professionally as well as nurses where coaching is used more commonly now as well as within the role of the mentor.
The use of case studies throughout the book contextualises coaching for the reader.
I liked the use of the grid responding to the 360o feedback figure 5.1 also liked the figures in 7.1 & 7.2.
Throughout the book there is a lack of diagrams which can make the book appear very intensive in places. I feel that diagrams can aid clarity for the student and can help to summarise large areas of text.
