you will either love it or hate it,
This review is from: Mythago Wood (GOLLANCZ S.F.) (Hardcover)
for some people this book goes to work on them, the imagery, the idea of the wood, it all becomes a banquet for their imagination. Not me however.
The wood is too easily introduced- too easily believed in by the characters- The existence of such a wood would claw away a mans sanity with a single stroke, not these guys however, their fine with it. And that for me was part of the problem but not all of it. For me the characters and dialouge were just piss-poor, and those things are very important to this type of story.

Oh really?!?! "The existence of such a wood would claw away a mans sanity with a single stroke, not these guys however, their fine with it." Fine with it??? Did you read the book??? I wouldn't exactly say they were "fine with it" by any stroke of the imagination.
