What can I say about this album.. other than to say its truly great. Some of the best metal I've heard in a long time, with the techno edge of Atari Teenage Riot but without the lack of melody and structure that ATR sometimes slip into. Like Pitchshifter only with TMCM every song on the album sounds fresh and individual. Like the Beach Boys or the Monkeys gone metal in All the Time in Sunny Beach and Island.
This sounds so much fresher than any "nu-metal" and is really the direction New Metal should be going in, if its not all going to become posturing and image like so many recent metal bands have resorted to. These guys deserve so much more success than many of their unmentionable US counterparts, who peddle an homogenised sound that does nothing to help progress its genre.
To use a common phrase, do yourself a favour and buy this album, its mindblowingly refreshing to hear after being subjected to the genre saturation of the music that has been dubbed nu-metal. I can only hope that they plan to tour the UK soon.
