Disappointing and inaccurate,
By A Customer
This review is from: Cary Grant: In Name Alone (Hardcover)
Having only got through half the book so far, I simply find the content of the book infuriating. There is more information given about the countless stars that Cary Grant worked with, than about the man himself.
There are some major errors in the research, leading me to doubt what I am reading. The most glaring, claiming that Albert Einstein invented film editing and montage whilst inventing the atom bomb! If the writers had bothered to research this properly, they would know that it was in fact Eisenstein. I am left wondering how much of the book I should actually believe. Very disappointing, I had been so looking forward to reading Cary Grant's biography.
