2.0 out of 5 stars Why buy when you can get the recipes for free!, 13 Feb 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: The Reboot with Joe Juice Diet - Lose weight, get healthy and feel amazing: As seen in the hit film 'Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead' (Paperback)
I've been juicing since August. Not the full diet just having juice everyday to increase my nutrition intake and generally improve my health and this was before I'd seen or heard of Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. I watched Joe's documentary and think he's great. Looking for more juice inspiration I bought this book only to find out after purchase that most, if not all, of the recipes are on his website for free! What a shame to be left feeling so ripped off instead of inspired.

I think this comment misses the point of the book: lots of people like to have the recipes to hand in book form, even if you're a regular internet user. I'm one of them, and will be buying the book as soon as I finish posting this comment!

The film is carefully done to make consumers think they need a product eg a juicer without it actually mentioning the brand eg Breville or Sage to make it sound like it's something new, but with mention of reboot plan on website which will take you to the juicers. One shouldn't need to watch a film about how to eat? Deep down any one of us will know what we eat or drink are healthy or not. Juicing is just the latest trend never seen so many people binge in between and look like they will spend rest of their lives downloading apps but forgetting to eat healthily. Joe Cross is clever man.
