Well i read this book, having bought it with anticipation, and WOW what a let down. The main character 'Babs' is a wet weekend, and comes across and some one who would 'drop them' for anyone. Her dialogue in the book is monosyballic often consisting of lines such as 'dunno' or 'I dunno'. Strangely enough by the end of the book she is on her third man whom she met whilst picking sprouts and spuds but had no physical or emotional interaction with, and in the last few pages she decides he is the man for her, that she is going to eventually marry him and live in Italy, and all after one kiss.
