This Little Black Book is actually full of insightful observations and I can see it being popular with managers (and potential/apprentice managers) who are looking to enhance their knowledge on the go. Slip it into your briefcase/laptop case or even your pocket and bring out to read for a few minutes in those quiet moments when you're looking for something to reflect on (it's also a great read if you're commuting to work). This is very much a practical guide and for me it ticks most of the right boxes. It doesn't fall into the trap of being gimmicky or superficial. Highly recommended.
