This review is from: Kingfisher Outside Tap Cover Frost Protector
I'm afraid mine got a hole in it when I was pulling it tight - the tap handle went through the polystyrene. It also needs to be bigger overall because of the various ways outdoor taps are fitted to walls. Mine tap for example has the pipe leaving the house about 2 inches left of where the tap is fitted. Don't ask me why, it was already in place when we moved in.
I've ended up leaving the broken cover in place and covering it with bubble wrap, then a bin liner, all kept on with duck tape. Wasn't hard to do. I think I would buy it again - just be very careful and maybe use it as the first line of defence but give it an extra coat.
