Definitely good to have hanging around in your collection,
This review is from: Double Take: Painting The Invisible & Yesterday, Today And Forever (MP3 Download)
It's a Sunday lunch and you've invited some friends/a family/randomers back from church and are looking for something to stick in the old stereo to entertain or maybe just to have in the background while the conversation occurs. You reach for Double Take and the gathering are delighted by 'Great is Your Glory' and 'Everyone under the Sun' and even the neighbours Gordon & Gill come in and enquire about the songstress' name.
This is obviously not a true story but it's something that very much could happen. I could list all the great worship songs on this double album but, in all honesty, I'd be listing about 18 of them. Through listening to this you can see what a talented singer-songwriter Beeching is. The reason why I haven't given this album the full 5 stars is because it just doesn't have as much playback value as releases from Rebecca St. James, Cathy Burton and Keith & Kristyn Getty seem to. This isn't something that I can easily describe either but a lot of the songs such as 'Suddenly' and 'Captivated' just don't seem to grab your attention as much the 7th time you play them.
By all means, though, do purchase this double album as its first listen is a real breath of fresh air even if the tenth listen isn't.
