Rating for the voice - 1000 Stars, one of the best voices for a long time - choice of songs 0.0000000000001 Star. I know everybody likes diferent music, but why did he abandon his musical (as in musical theatre) roots, I expected something other then this tuneless drivel, I am sorry I bought it.

Giles Deacon says:
His roots isn't musicals though, he said the music he's always enjoyed singing and being part of is more rock/folk, so he is going back to his roots technically.

He became famous for his role in "Love never dies" and his other roles in musicals. What you say may well be so but I am sure if he'd stuck to his "love" of Rock/Folk nobody would have heard of him. I know my views may well be in the minority but are nevertheless valid

Giles Deacon says:
Agreed, he accepts musicals is what made him famous, hence why he involves the two primary songs from the two musicals which made him predominantly well known. However, he didn't want to have the album consist of musicals like some other artists, and wanted to sing the music that he truly loves, thus attempting to make his rock/folk style more popular.

Agreed. I don't like MOTN/TIHYS 's arrangement at all. It's so weird.

Mrs. S. Bennett says:
Yes I know but most of his fan base is musical theatre based. So give your fans what they want and not what you as an artist wants.
