Crean with Scott,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Sailor on Ice: Tom Crean: with Scott in the Antarctic 1910-1913 (Paperback)
I have read a couple of books about tom Crean. He is a hero and his exploits defy description. He seemed to be happiest in the most dire of circumstances. He also seemed to have been put together differently from most other men as he seemed to laugh off the biting cold of the vilest the Antarctic could through at him. This book have a good insight into his journey with Scott. However the most annoying thing about the book were the number of typos. There must have been at least 20. Since I hardly ever see any in any books I read this makes me wonder if anyone bothered to proof read it. I think this did slightly spoil my enjoyment of the book. Despite that if you are interested in reading about Crean with Scott then this book is worth reading.
