This review is from: Insights From Beyond the Lens: Inside the Art & Craft of Landscape Photography (Kindle Edition)
This only cost a couple of pounds, so you can't complain if it's not as big as 'war and peace.' For the price, it's worth every penny. It's different from many photography books that often labour on the technical side of taking pictures. Here, the author offers us a glimpse into the thoughts and feelings that helped him create some of his lovely photgraphs. Along the journey, he provides some nuggets of wisdom to motivate the reader. I found his writing style easy to read and relaxing. I felt the book was pitched towards someone who needed a paradigm shift in how they go about capturing that new landscape image. I knocked one star off because it could have provided more depth, but I got the feeling he may be keeping something more for book 2.

Sorry, I read this on my PC-kindle, which is colour. I would suspect that it would also be in colour in the kindlefire.
