This review is from: Night of the Fox (Paperback)
Not read a Higgins novel for years and now recall what I have been missing.
Superbly told story set in Jersey towards the end of the war.
A secret mission to rescue an American colleague who finds himself stuck on the Island in possession of the D Day landing sites. The Germans hot on his tail with a dawning realisation of what they have within their grasp.
The novel jogs along superbly none of the more modern over described situations and settings you get these days padding books out needlessly. It just gets on with it.
If you have not read Higgins for a while I heartily recommend this book as a reintroduction.
If you are a Higgins first timer then this is a good place to start.
