Interesting but lacked somehow,

I was really interested to read this book, as I a) find this quite of book interesting and b) struggle with my own willpower, so I was hoping for some answers in this book. The book is primarily research based with in the region of 230 references scattered throughout the book. The research was interesting on its' own, and I could see where the authors were going with it, but where I thought the book lacked was in the summary / suggestions for implementation. There were a few, but it was such a brief section it was over before it began.
One of the books referenced in this book was "Mindless Eating" by Brian Wasnik and I found a lot of his work repeated in this, but none the less, I enjoyed it and it is thought provoking.
