Gosh...I thought you were taller.,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The tea set arrived the other day while i was at work, so an arduous treck was taken through the wind and hail to get to the post office and tote my precious cargo home.
I was so excited, this was by far the best christmas present i'd picked out for my dad. An oriental tea set and, not just any tea set, BUT ONE THAT CHANGES COLOUR!!
Imagine my disappointment when i got it home and discovered that it was small enough to be used by Geisha Barbie.
It is very cute, lovely in fact, perfectly formed from fine china and the box is a beautiful brocade design with the set artfully arranged inside...but it's tiny. I feel like i should be sitting at a plastic table and chairs set with my teddy bear using apple juice instead of tea.
Full of righteous indignation, and furious thoughts on whether or not i could get it sent back and replaced with something else in time for christmas, i logged onto the amazon to check and see if it had been listed as being this small. It has indeed been pointed out in the specs that the set is quite small. So, my own fault for ordering it too quickly without proper research but it really should have been listed more clearly.
Like, you know, in the title of the damn thing.
So, in short, lovely, well constructed and presented but definitly more ornamental than practical.
I'm sure it will look prettiful on my dad's mantlepiece but i now have to go off into town again and get him something else to go with it.

There's no reason to put the size in the title. That's about the standard size for a Chinese tea set.
