I bought this game 3 days ago and for 3 days it was good fun. The graphics are a little below par and there are occasional bugs - I once got stuck in a car and couldn't get out and had to quit. However, I could have lived with these niggles except the game now crashes every 5 minutes and is un-playable. A quick trawl of the internet shows I am by no means alone in this. A LOT of people are experiencing frequent crashes. A patch is promised but I'm not holding my breath. Why release a game with such a major flaw? In any other industry releasing a faulty product would be unacceptable but in the world of gaming some seem to believe it is ok to release rubbish like this and fix it after. I will avoid products by Bethesda Softworks in the future. PS, before someone says it is my PC, I have a dozen recent games all running on my brand new PC and non of them crash like this.

J. Needham says:
on games like fallout and oblivion you can open the console by pressing "`" key and then tcl then enter then collision will be off; you can then move through obstacles etc. then turn it off.
as for the problem, bad luck... i have had mine for a long time now, and no crashes so far
