Very good for beginners in magic,
= Durability: = Fun: = Educational:
Whilst most cards tricks require mathematical formulae or sleight of hand, the Stripper Deck is useful for a variety of tricks. Each deck have their own instructions, which, although not without multiple typos, teach you a series of tricks. The markings on the Stripper Deck is so subtle that under the eye of many of my sceptical friends, were not detected. My magic teacher however, noticed almost instantly. Also, the actual characteristics of the deck (narrower end) is not at all noticeable and when I did bring out the deck, many people took it to play cards with, shuffle, do their own tricks etc and did not realise it was a special deck.
In regards to the Svengali Deck, it was wonderful! Although instructions weren't clear, online versions are available. I panicked when I noticed half the cards were all the same and they were not even long and short but then I realised it was part of the trick! And the difference in length is so subtle I was already planning to complain after a good ten minute of inspecting it. The deck allows a spectator to choose a card and then have you transform the entire deck before their eyes. It's a wonderful trick that astounds even the most sceptical. Both adults and children will be amazed. Of course, you can only turn the deck into one card, the 6 of Hearts, and you are not allowed to let others inspect the deck for obvious reasons, it provides a lot of fun to all ages. A very spectacular trick to learn.
A must have for serious beginner magicians. Not the best quality but great for the price. Hope you enjoy it.
