Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: And So It Goes (Audio CD)
I bought this album as a substitute for the concert which was exorbitantly expensive: sadly I found this album wishy-washy and not up to his usual standard. Time to hang up the boots, I think.

Michael Jones says:
Totally agree Mike seen him 15 times myself and as far as his live performance and this album goes it's just as good as ever. At 73 years of age he puts many young artist to shame with the quality of his work.

M. Wright says:
Listened to it again and still disappointed. Also have just listened to Willie Nelson's latest album and am delighted. Probably just a difference of opinion - no offence.

D. Lucas says:
certainly is a very strange opinion, i have every last don williams lp and cd going and this latest offering considering the guys 73 years old is as good as ever, his tunes carry the same "gentle giant-like" qualities, people like alison krauss and keith urban harmonise with him on this album so hes gotta be doing SOMETHING right, 9/10 for the album, woulda got full on marks if the album contained just a couple extra tracks
