This review is from: Death of a Poison Pen (Hamish Macbeth Book 19) (Kindle Edition)
I'm not too sure why but I didn't enjoy this book as much as all the other Hamish books I've read. It felt difficult to remember who was who (I gave up trying to remember) and the explanation for the murders just seemed plain unlikely. I'm no literary critic so I can't be more specific in my comments. I do enjoy the regular characters and the on going drama of Hamish's love life and the wider village community.
