Great for gaming, but a shame you have to pay for the "extras",

I picked these up recently using some free vouchers from work, I was a bit sceptical as the reviews ranged pretty wildly...but I'm more than happy with them on my 360. Fair enough the picture isn't HD quality etc but since you're more "doing" than "watching" in a game anyway I think they're great...especially with a decent set of noise isolating headphones to immerse you that bit more.
I've had one or two issues with the picture being a bit off when you turn them on, with the top part of the screen displaying at the bottom of the glasses, but a quick turn on/off and they're fine.
My one criticism is the actual box contents, most of the online reviews on YouTube etc refer to the "included" light-shield to block our your peripheral vision or the "included" AC USB charger...the UK version contains neither...which is a pity considering the glasses aren't exactly a cheap purchase in the first place. I basically got mine free but still felt slightly cheated as other regions obviously get the extras included in the (probably cheaper) initial purchase price.
All in all I would definitely recommend these if you have the money to spare, they aren't fantastic but they are good for getting you into a game, as long as you aren't expecting blow your socks off resolution etc.

Im sorely tempted by these glasses because i may have to stay in hospital for a fair length of time after an op in the new year and with these i could play an xbox360 from the bed! :) I need to gauge if the price is worth the "gimmic" or if its just that bit too expensive for the novelty.
I have the extra reason to buy them, i.e. how else can you watch movies and stuff while stuck in a bed with no TV close by but then again a small LCD monitor could be used on a table and that could potentially have much more use later.
Id like to ask you if you had to play games and watch movies while layed up in bed would you prefer these glasses or say a 22" flatscreen LCD?
