Taking the Michael,
This review is from: Mindstar Rising (Greg Mandel 1) (Kindle Edition)
I have enjoyed several of Peter Hamilton's books in hard copy but made the mistake of purchasing the Kindle edition of Mindstar Rising. The number of spelling mistakes or proofing errors have overwhelmed his best efforts. Had anyone as much as glanced through the pages before "publishing" the digital version? It seems that the copy was scanned by third rate software and not even checked for the simplest errors. Wen the word 'part' is changed to 'fart' and there are often two typos per page the authors work is ruined. The publishers should be ashamed of this poor effort. Peter, you deserve better than this.Mindstar Rising (Greg Mandel)

You are meant to be reviewing the book!
I am looking at the paperback here in Amazon and it's got 3.5 stars, because people like you don't think about what they are doing and spoil the rating of a story because they had a bad experience with something the author had no control over!

D. J. Simons says:
The fault lies more with Amazon stupidly being unable to separate reviews for similar products properly.
Would you rate a paperback book highly if it was riddled with proofing errors?
Anywho - does anyone know if amazon has fixed the proofing errors yet? I want to read it.
