Why are good books which sell well being re-released under different titles, thus deceiving readers/fans?
This is Rare Interest in corpses re-titled. This is unfair to Anne Perry's readers. I can't believe this is what she wants either.

issuing good books with new titles is happening regularly these days. this is not a good idea, as it leaves the readers out of pocket and very annoyed. it therefore does the authors and publishers no good as readers are very reluctant to buy any new books for fear of buying ones that they have already read. this has recently happened with one of my favourite authors - I had been looking forward to her 'new' release only to find that I had read it under another title. This is not the way to encourage loyal readers!
