Customer Review

3.0 out of 5 stars Not proof read, 30 Jun. 2012
By
This review is from: The Antipope (The Brentford Trilogy Book 1) (Kindle Edition)
I enjoyed the story, in fact I re-purchased on kindle to replace my existing paperback.

However I agree with an earlier reviewer that the book was very poorly proof read, the typos were obvious and spoilt the enjoyment somewhat.

It does feel that it was typed at speed with little or no care.

I have to consider whether to purchase anything else from this publisher if this is the level of quality they produce.

I notice that this has been updated as a result of feedback. Am I entitled to an updated copy?

Hi,

Apologies for the errors that slipped into the first release, these early books are self published and it is surprisingly tricky to spot these type of mistakes.
If you go to 'manage my kindle' you should find that it says an update is available for this book.

If you could confirm that is the case I'd really appreciate it.

Thank you
Robert Rankin

Thanks Robert. I couldn't see anything that suggests there is an update but to be honest I do not really know what I am looking for.

If you go into Manage Your Kindle and drop down the list for View then you should find an option for updated items at the bottom. This will then list all items with updated versions available. You can then update the version from there.

Hope this helps.

Thank you. Unfortunately the last item in the list is 'Personal Documents', there is no updated items option.
