Charles Dickens enthusiast.,
This review is from: A Tale of Two Cities (Penguin Classics) (Paperback)
Dickens is renowned for his humour, but 'A Tale of Two Cities' is one of his least comical books. Dickens uses as humour the different points of view in Paris and London. The book is full of tragic situations, leaving little room for intended humour provided by Dickens.
It has been given a TOP FIVE position however, in the greatest English Literature novels ever written.
