A Great Budget CPU,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: AMD FX-6350 Black Edition CPU (AM3+, Hex Core, 3.90GHz, 14MB, 125W, Advanced Bit Manipulation) (Personal Computers)
The AMD FX-6350 is a great budget CPU. It's more than capable of handling most computing tasks out there and is incredibly modestly priced. The AM3+ socket is on many great, modern motherboards giving you an excellent option and variety in that end too. My only real gripe with this product is the stock fan included with it. It's sufficient for the CPU if you're not planning on overclocking it (Mine never exceeds 50oC on heavy load), but it does get very loud when under heavy load. But seeing as CPU coolers are cheap nowadays, it isn't much of a bother.

What after market coolers would you suggest?

Personally, having just bought one of these for the 6350, I would recommend this; (it's factory refurbished but mine looks brand new H55 Hydro Corsair Liquid CPU Cooler Factory Refurbished . You can get it at www.scan.co.uk for cheaper but these little self contained water cooling units are amazing.

I agree that it's a great CPU but it's surprising how good the 4350 is compared to it. For budget i'd go for the 4350 just because it's very close in terms of performance abd quite a lot cheaper.
