1.0 out of 5 stars ah... and after many months of hype it seems, Windows 7, is again, just the nightmares of Vista., 1 Sept. 2009
This review is from: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium - Full Version (PC DVD), 1 User (CD-ROM)
Ill give it that its more stable and has better compatibility, but then again, Vista's was about as stable as a three legged donkey on and bouncy castle and had the compatibility of my toaster.

Apart from that, its just vista. It still tries to dictate your life with Security Centre alerts and UAC alerts. Multitasking is an impossibility, the updates are coming faster than any Windows PC can boot up, and the Control Panel, a once simple way to change your settings, looks like it's been hit buy a bus. How come it is so complicated?

A week ago, i threw my PC and bought a mac. And trust me, as long as your fine gaming on a console, Mac's are brilliant. Everything is so much simple and easier, I spend not even half the time on my mac than I did on my PC, just because I get stuff done so much faster. You also see where M$'s visual themes and OS ideas were inspired from.

Do you know how many clicks it takes to turn off UAC? What hardware are you trying to multi-task on? Aren't security updates a good thing? Change the control panel back to the previous look with one click....

How many ways can you write a letter? How many ways can you erase your documents? How many ways can you browse the web? Think about it. So, to put this into perspective... You had a pc, purchased WIndows 7, installed it, failed in a big way, then purchased a mac. You must have money to burn and I suppose that fits the lifestyle of a mac owner. P.s. How's the pmultimedia in OSX? Apparently it dictates ... :)
