5.0 out of 5 stars A mention for the man, 6 Mar. 2012
This review is from: Farther On Up The Road: The Chrysalis Years 1977-83 (Audio CD)
Excellent music...this completes the great run of Robin Trower albums. It's also great to see a well deserved mention for James Dewar on the cover, he was always the icing on the cake for me. This is not to decry the material featuring Jack Bruce, I just love Jimmy's voice more.

You are so right about James Dewar. Arguably the defining addition to RT's overall sound. One of the great voices of rock. Jack Bruce is great of course, he needs no introduction, but it's time James Dewar gets his due!!!

I had the great privilege to work with Jimmy for a short spell after he split with Trower. It was a such a sad loss when he passed away. If you google the name you'll find a great tribute site.

cd-heaven says:
James Dewar made Robin Trower...Robin wouldn't disagree.
