This review is from: Where the Rainbow Ends (Hardcover)
I waded through the first 1/3 of this book disappointed at first at what a total waste of time the book was. I continued, hoping that the story and the characters would finally take hold. They didn't. There was absolutely no character development. I didn't care about the people because I didn't know them. The author never gave me a chance. The narrator would introduce a new character, sleep with him, split up, mourn his passing, and be re-united all in the span of about six pages. Finally I could take no more and actually threw the hardback book in the trash. I have never thrown away a book but not only did I not want this one in my home but I didn't want some unsuspecting reader to find and waste their time reading it. This was the *worst* book I've read in a really long time.
