Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: GP Recyko AAA Rechargeable NiMH Batteries (Card of 4) (Electronics)
I used to get my re-chargeable batteries from a well known supermarket (that sounds like ASBO) for about £7 for a card of 4.
They recently (and this is true of many of their other bargains also) stopped selling them.
Now, the cheapest you can get batteries there, is about £15 for 4..
A little digging around on the interlie and I found these. "What?" recommended and they won't discharge when not being used.
Sounded ideal for carrying spares in my rucksack.
And how much do you think I paid for these? £12, £10 or like ASBO, £7?
No. £4.15! And FREE postage!
I have been using these for a month or two now, with no noticeable problems. They seem, in fact, to be in every way at least equal to the batteries I've been paying DOUBLE money for (and am now expected to pay FOUR TIMES the amount for)!
This is at least, confirmation that our supermarkets rip us off big time. And for the sake of a little research we can find equal or superior products elsewhere.
I will be buying a LOT more of these. AA and AAA. I have torches, clocks, games consoles and a ton of other stuff needs powering up, and for this money it's a lot more affordable.
