As with any dictionary you need to access the information quickly, and concisely. If you are travelling about it and you need referencing, on the go then this edition is just the right size. Returning to the referencing, this dictionary is no different from any other good quality dictionary. It is easy to thumb through - the definitions are just the right length and they range in complexity from a few a few words to help define the term to a much larger entry. My only critiques would be as the `law' changes and evolves the terms and definitions will change, which means this type of dictionary will have a short shelve life. While this book more than covers many legal terms etc., this edition by size will not be the definitive dictionary on all terms and you may need to refer to a larger compendium.
