This review is from: Dissociation and the Dissociative Disorders: DSM-V and Beyond (Hardcover)
This is really a superb achievement and contains an incredible amount of information about the dissociative disorders. There are chapters on the history, going back to Janet and cutting edge theories of Dissociative Identity Disorder ( DID ). If you want one book on dissociation, this should be the one. Why for example is it important to understand DID? Well, Bromberg suggests that personality disorders are dissociation based and that understanding DID is the touchstone for understanding them. All, in all I would highly recommend this book......yes, it is expensive but you get 900 pages of very detailed information.
